Ukrainian border guards carried out drone strikes against Russian troops, inflicting losses on the enemy, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
As a result of the successful combat operation, border guards from the Stalevyi Kordon (Steel Border) unit eliminated at least four Russian soldiers and wounded another.
The attacks also destroyed 10 enemy shelters and positions, as well as a drone hidden in an ambush.
Russian losses
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of November 26, Russian troops have lost about 1,168,550 soldiers since the start of the full-scale invasion.
Ukrainian forces have also destroyed 11,372 tanks, 23,625 armored combat vehicles, and 34,688 artillery systems.
In particular, just yesterday, on November 25, Russian troops lost 980 soldiers on the front line.
Yesterday, November 25, it became known that a drone strike by Ukrainian defenders in Taganrog destroyed an experimental Russian A-60 aircraft.
The A-60 is a flying laboratory equipped with laser weapons.
According to Defence Express, the aircraft was built on the Il-76MD platform back in the 1990s. It featured an extended nose fitted with radar equipment and a large fuselage-mounted structure housing a laser with a power of about 1 megawatt, designed to blind satellites and to target aerostats and aerial threats.
Satellite images show that another aircraft, the A-100LL, intended to replace the Soviet-era A-50 early warning planes, was also destroyed in the attack.
