In the Kursk direction, border guards of the Stalevyi kordon (Steel Border) brigade carried out precise strikes against the enemy. This halted the opponent’s offensive actions and strengthened the region’s defense, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Over the past day, fighters of the Stalevyi kordon brigade carried out precise strikes on enemy positions in the Kursk direction using Vampire UAVs and FPV drones. As a result of the operation, four soldiers were eliminated, and four enemy shelters were destroyed, effectively stopping the next wave of the enemy’s assault.
The Stalevyi kordon brigade specializes in conducting reconnaissance and strike operations using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Previously, they have destroyed enemy equipment and positions, helping Ukrainian units maintain control over strategic directions.
Earlier reports indicated that Ukrainian border guards in the Sumy region destroyed communication systems, radar stations, and shelters used by Russian troops.
In November, Ukrainian forces in the Northern-Slobozhanskyi direction eliminated 50 Russian soldiers, destroyed hundreds of shelters, and wiped out dozens of pieces of equipment. Among other targets, a Russian self-propelled artillery unit, the Gvozdika, was destroyed on the territory of Russia’s Kursk region.
Additionally, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that North Korean units, which had assisted Russia in countering the Ukrainian counteroffensive in the Kursk region, are now involved in demining operations. This highlights the cooperation between the two regimes and demonstrates the extent of Pyongyang’s involvement in the war against Ukraine.
