Russia has deployed 150,000 soldiers to the three most active frontlines in eastern Ukraine. On the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian forces have concentrated 70,000 troops, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Nazar Voloshyn, Spokesperson for the Khortytsia operational and strategic group of troops.

"On the three tactical directions where the enemy is most engaged - Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, and Vremivka - there are three large Russian groupings: 'Center,' 'South,' and 'East.' These groupings total about 150,000 personnel," Voloshyn said.

According to Ukraine's military, Russian forces have deployed the most manpower in the Pokrovsk direction - around 70,000 soldiers. In the Kurakhove direction, there are about 35-36 thousand invaders, and in the Vremivka direction, 40,000.

Voloshyn added that the Russians continue to use the tactic of small assault groups instead of mechanized advances. The stormtroopers are supported by a small amount of armored vehicles, or in some cases, they are sent into battle without military equipment: using pick-ups and buggies.

Losses of Russian army

It is important to note that the number of Russian attacks on the front has increased recently. In the past 24 hours, 250 combat clashes were recorded across all directions. The most difficult situation remains in the Pokrovsk, Vremivka, and Kurakhove directions. Intense fighting is also taking place in the Kursk region.

In the last 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have eliminated more than 1,500 Russian soldiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has already lost over 768,000 soldiers.
