"The next round of trilateral talks between Ukraine, the US, and Russia is scheduled to take place in Geneva on February 17-18. The Ukrainian delegation has already begun preparations for this meeting," Umerov says.

According to him, the President of Ukraine has determined the preliminary composition of the negotiating team.

"Along with me, the delegation will include: Kyrylo Budanov, Andrii Hnatov, Davyd Arakhamia, Sergiy Kyslytsya, and Vadym Skibitskyi," the NSDC Secretary adds.

He also stresses that the negotiating team was formed taking into account the military, political, and security components of the process.

"We will work on substantive decisions within the framework defined by the head of state. The goal remains unchanged—a stable and lasting peace. We are preparing for serious and responsible work," Umerov concludes.

Ukraine is going to the meeting with Russia with the same negotiating team that participated in the previous meeting in Abu Dhabi.

Russia, on the other hand, has decided to change the composition of its delegation. This time, instead of GRU head Igor Kostyukov, it will again be led by Vladimir Putin's assistant, Vladimir Medinsky, who has previously headed Russian delegations in negotiations with Ukraine.
