Military exchange

During the second round of negotiations in Istanbul on June 2, Ukraine and the Russian Federation agreed on a large-scale exchange of prisoners. It concerns the exchange of all severely wounded and seriously ill prisoners of war, as well as all military personnel aged from 18 to 25 years.

The parties also agreed on the return of 6,000 bodies of fallen soldiers from each side.

Thus, on June 9, Ukraine and the Russian Federation conducted a new exchange. The number of returned servicemen was not reported. But it is known that among those who were returned were the wounded and severely wounded, as well as those under the age of 25.

Yesterday, on June 10, the second stage of the exchange took place. Severely wounded and wounded warriors returned home.
