Ukraine repatriates bodies of 1,200 fallen heroes: Video

On Friday, June 13, the bodies of 1,200 deceased Ukrainians, including military personnel, were returned to Ukraine. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) released exclusive footage of the repatriation process, according to an official statement.
According to the SBU, the first stage of the repatriation was carried out using specialized railcars provided by Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways). This allowed for the expedited transportation of the fallen defenders' remains to facilities across different regions of Ukraine, where further identification and forensic procedures will be conducted.
The bodies of fallen defenders returned to Ukraine
As reported, on June 13, the remains of another 1,200 deceased Ukrainians were returned to Ukraine. Among them are the bodies of fallen defenders.
This repatriation was carried out in accordance with agreements reached in Istanbul on June 2.
It is noted that investigators from Ukrainian law enforcement agencies, together with forensic experts from Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs, will conduct all necessary examinations and identification procedures for the repatriated remains.
