Ukraine will soon hold a series of important meetings with partners from the Coalition of the Willing, as well as talks at the level of world leaders, according to a message from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.

According to the head of state, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (RNBO), Rustem Umerov, reported an agreement with national security advisers from partner countries on holding a meeting as early as January 3 in Ukraine.

"Secretary of the RNBO, Rustem Umerov, has just reported an agreement with national security advisers from the Coalition of the Willing on a meeting in the near future. We are planning it for January 3 in Ukraine," Zelenskyy said.

He also noted that talks will continue at the level of heads of state, with a meeting scheduled for January 6 in France.

"Shortly after this, we will be speaking at the level of leaders – meetings are needed. We are planning it for January 6 in France," he added.

Zelenskyy separately thanked the team of US President Donald Trump for their readiness to participate in all effective formats of cooperation. According to him, Ukrainian teams have already communicated with partners and discussed next steps and key points for the negotiations.

"Not a single day is wasted," Zelenskyy concluded.

New working groups

On December 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump held a meeting in Florida, during which they discussed contentious provisions of the US peace plan for Ukraine.

After the talks, both sides made statements to the press. Trump reported some progress on the Donbas issue, noting that no final decisions have been made yet, but the parties have moved closer to an agreement. He also announced the creation of a special working group on the peace settlement involving senior US officials.

Recently, Rustem Umerov mentioned a conversation with US President Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, which Zelenskyy also joined.
