Ukraine prepares new sanctions against Russia

The President of Ukraine received a report from Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Presidential Office, on sanctions and diplomatic contacts. Following the meeting, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced preparations to increase pressure on Russia.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a meeting with Kyrylo Budanov, during which they discussed the priorities of the Office of the President and sanctions policy against Russia.
"All lines of pressure on Russia and individuals associated with it must be maintained and adapted to the changing wartime realities," Zelenskyy emphasizes.
According to him, Ukraine is preparing to strengthen its sanctions toolkit further to limit the Kremlin's financial and political capabilities to wage war against Ukraine.
Separately, Budanov reported to the President on some of the meetings within the diplomatic track of negotiations, where Ukraine's positions are being coordinated with international partners.
"We will continue strengthening the sanctions toolkit," the head of state stresses.
During the meeting, key domestic policy tasks were also identified, which must be implemented as a matter of priority to strengthen the country's resilience in wartime.

Budanov's new appointment
