Ukraine police release shocking footage after deadly Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia

Police have released the first footage showing the moments after the Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia early on October 5, reports Oleksii Biloshytskyi, First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department of Ukraine.
According to him, the latest combined attack damaged both private homes and apartment buildings. Several people were injured, and one person was killed.
Biloshytskyi said police, together with rescuers and medics, quickly arrived at the sites of impact. They evacuated residents from damaged houses, freed those trapped under debris, and assisted people with disabilities.
"Every such night is a test of endurance and humanity. But we stand together. We are strong because there are always those who don’t stay aside," Biloshytskyi said.
Aftermath of the Russian attack
Russian forces once again struck Zaporizhzhia overnight on October 5, leaving nearly 300 households without gas. The city was attacked by drones and guided aerial bombs, with at least ten strikes recorded.
Residential buildings were damaged, fires broke out, and the city temporarily lost water and electricity. According to local authorities, nine people were injured, and one person was killed.
