Ukraine finished competing at 2024 Olympics: Medal wins revealed
On Sunday, August 11, Ukraine officially finished competing at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Ukrainian athletes won a total of 12 medals.

Ukraine has officially completed its performances at the Olympics after the 97 kg freestyle wrestler Murazi Mchedlidze's match.
The Ukrainian defeated South African Nicholas De Lange today, which allowed him to compete for bronze. However, in the last match, Mchedlidze lost to Azerbaijan's Magomedkhan Magomedov and failed to win a bronze medal for Ukraine.
Ukraine finished the 2024 Olympics with 12 medals. Ukraine is currently ranked 22nd in the medal standings.
China unexpectedly rose to first place (90 medals), while the United States, which had long topped the ranking, dropped to second place (122 medals). Japan took third place (44 medals).
Other countries in the top 10 medal standings are Australia (51 medals), France (62 medals), Great Britain (63 medals), the Netherlands (33 medals), South Korea (30 medals), Germany (31 medals) and Italy (39 medals).
What medals did Ukraine win?
Gold - fencing team (Olga Harlan, Yulia Bakastova and Alina Komashchuk, Olena Kravatska), Yaroslava Maguchikh (high jump), Oleksandr Khyzhnyak (boxing).
Silver - Serhii Kulish (rifle shooting), Parviz Nasibov (Greco-Roman wrestling), Iryna Koliadenko (freestyle wrestling), Anastasiia Rybachok and Liudmyla Luzan (canoeing in the double sculls), Ilya Kovtun (uneven bars).
Bronze medals went to Olga Kharlan (fencing), Iryna Gerashchenko (high jump), Mykhailo Kokhan (hammer throw), and Zhan Beleniuk (Greco-Roman wrestling).
As a reminder, the 2024 Olympics started on July 26 and runs until August 11. This year's Games are being hosted by Paris and 16 other French cities. At the 2024 Olympics, 329 sets of medals were up for grabs. There were 48 types of competitions in 32 sports disciplines. Ukraine was represented in 22 sports.
