Ukraine ends multiple agreements with Russia and its allies
Today, on August 23, the Ukrainian Parliament terminated a series of agreements with Russia, Iran, Belarus, and Syria, according to the Telegram channel of Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zhelezniak.
The Ukrainian Parliament today, on August 23, terminated a series of agreements with Russia, Iran, Belarus, and Syria.
It is noted that the Parliament terminated the agreement between Ukraine and Syria on the avoidance of double taxation. A similar agreement was terminated between Ukraine and Iran.
Additionally, Ukraine ended the agreement on labor activity and social protection of citizens with Belarus. With Russia, Ukraine decided to terminate the agreement on international road communication.
Other agreements terminated by Ukraine today
Zhelezniak informed that the deputies supported Ukraine's withdrawal from certain international agreements concluded within the framework of the CIS.
These include agreements on cooperation among CIS member states in combating human trafficking, trafficking in organs and tissues, made in Moscow on November 25, 2005.

Cancellation of agreements
With the onset of the widespread invasion, Ukraine has been systematically working on the cancellation of agreements and treaties concluded in previous years with Russia. This year alone, the government terminated agreements:
- on cooperation and interaction in the construction of checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Russian state border;
- on cooperation in the field of aviation search and rescue;
- on cooperation in the field of research and use of outer space for peaceful purposes;
- on air communication and cooperation in the field of air transport; on the principles of cooperation in the production and supply of aviation equipment;
- on mutual establishment of branches of the Trade and Economic Mission.
Earlier, the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, stated that Ukraine couldn't terminate all previously concluded agreements with Russia and Belarus, as there were a number of agreements that should remain, particularly those concerning human rights.
