Ukraine's Defense Forces have destroyed an Iskander missile launcher in Russia's Kursk region, reducing Russia's ability to launch ballistic missile strikes on Ukrainian cities, according to Ukraine's General Staff.
On October 29 and overnight into October 30, Ukrainian Defense Forces units carried out new strikes against key enemy targets.
The following targets were hit:
-
An Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system launcher near a ballistic missile transfer site in the area of Fatezh, Kursk region, Russia.

The General Staff noted that every destroyed Iskander-M launcher reduces the Russian army's ability to carry out ballistic missile strikes on Ukrainian cities.
Strikes on enemy repair units make it harder for Russian forces to restore damaged equipment and return it to the battlefield, while the loss of ammunition depots reduces their firepower.
As a reminder, on October 29, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also said that Ukraine had carried out two missile strikes that destroyed two Russian fighter jets and hit an Iskander missile launcher.
Earlier, Ukraine's Defense Forces also struck a Russian repair base for Iskander-M missile systems in the Kursk region.
