Ukraine destroys massive Russian drone and ammo depots in Donbas - General Staff

According to the General Staff, the enemy attempted to organize the distribution of ammunition for the 17th Tank Battalion of the 70th Motorized Rifle Division near temporarily occupied Bohdanivka in the Luhansk region, as well as the allocation of over 19,000 drones of various types for Russian forces in the Donetsk region.

“Trucks delivered tens of thousands of mines, grenades, and ammunition of various types to the field depot of the tank regiment, including thousands of tank rounds (notably precision ZUBK-14 rounds) and artillery shells,” the General Staff said.

In the second case, the cargo consisted of various drones (Molniya, Boomerang, Vandal Novgorodsky, Gorynych, and others) along with related equipment such as batteries, communication modules, and video transmitters.

On August 29, the Dnipro Operational-Strategic Group of Ukrainian Troops struck a logistics point for drone distribution, destroying a huge stockpile of Russian strike drones.

On September 18, units of the Armed Forces and Security Service of Ukraine hit a regimental ammunition depot of Russian forces in the Luhansk region.

“In addition to ammunition, enemy vehicles were also destroyed,” the General Staff clarified.

Ukrainian strikes on Russian troops

Recently, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes on Russian military command posts in the Donetsk region, hitting enemy personnel, including command staff.

Ukrainian defenders also targeted the command post of Russia’s 85th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region.

In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully struck the command post of the 8th Combined Arms Army in the same region.
