North Korean military in the war against Ukraine

Russia is involving North Korean military personnel in the war against Ukraine.

Ukrainian intelligence has reported that the DPRK has sent about 12,000 soldiers to Russia, some of whom have already been deployed in the Kursk region.

According to the Financial Times, about 3,000 North Korean troops are stationed in the Kursk region, 50 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.

The Ukrainian military doubts the combat capability of these units, as North Korean soldiers have no experience in modern warfare.

Meanwhile, South Korea is considering sending military observers to Ukraine.
