President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Russia must be held accountable for its actions in Ukraine. Pressure must be applied to Moscow. It is crucial not to ignore that Russia is killing children with ballistic missiles.

Commenting on yesterday's missile strike on Kryvyi Rih, Zelenskyy said that many people around the world have expressed their stance on the matter. They have made it clear that they reject Russian terror. Zelenskyy emphasized that the world should be grateful for this.

"To all those who see this and do not turn a blind eye, but speak the truth clearly and openly, not only we in Ukraine but the entire world should be grateful. Ignoring the fact that it is Russia killing children with ballistic missiles is wrong, and it is dangerous. It only encourages the scoundrels in Moscow to continue the war and keep ignoring diplomacy. Weakness has never ended a war. That’s why I am thankful to every country whose representatives have spoken out: leaders, foreign ministers, and embassies," Zelenskyy said.

He added that Russian ballistic missiles struck a "regular street in a regular city, in a residential area." Moreover, after the strike, there was an additional drone attack, during which a person was killed and others were injured. The head of state emphasized that Russia must be held accountable.

"Russia must be held accountable for everything it has done. Pressure must be applied to them — real pressure, not wasting time on empty talks to end this war," Zelenskyy concluded.
