About US Open 2024

The tournament will run until September 8, with a total prize pool of $75 million.

American star Coco Gauff, who won the women’s singles title last year, will defend her title. Last year, she defeated Belarus’s Aryna Sabalenka in three sets (2-6, 6-3, 6-2).

The best performance by a Ukrainian player last year was by Elina Svitolina, who reached the third round. The former world No. 3 lost to American Jessica Pegula in that round.

Notably, Kostyuk recently climbed into the top six of Ukrainian tennis players in terms of wins at WTA 1000 tournaments.
