Ukraine and US to establish company to repair American armored vehicles

Ukraine and the USA have agreed to establish a joint venture for the repair and maintenance of American armored vehicles, citing Ukroboronprom (Ukrainian Defense Industry - ed.).
The state-owned company Ukroboronprom has signed a memorandum of intent to create a joint venture with Amentum Services, an American company that is one of the leading firms in global project design, project management, and solution integration.
Ukraine and the USA will set up a joint venture for the refurbishment and maintenance of American-made armored vehicles.
Previously, representatives of Amentum Services visited Ukroboronprom facilities. Ukrainian specialists expect assistance from their American partners in obtaining technical documentation, equipment, and spare parts for the repair and maintenance of combat armored vehicles.
Also, Ukraine has agreed with the German defense conglomerate Rheinmetall on the joint production of Lynx combat armored vehicles. The first vehicle is expected to be produced this year.
Additionally, Ukraine and Rheinmetall have launched a workshop for repairing equipment damaged during combat operations.
Furthermore, Ukraine has received its first license to produce 155mm NATO-standard shells, made possible through an agreement with the Franco-German company KNDS.
