In the city of Jeddah, in western Saudi Arabia, negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine and the United States are beginning, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reports.
"In Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, a meeting between the Ukrainian and American delegations is beginning," the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote.
In addition, according to a message from the US Department of State, the negotiations will start at 11:00 a.m. Kyiv time.
Ukrainian delegation includes:
- Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha;
- Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak;
- Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov.
US delegation includes:
- US Secretary of State Marco Rubio;
- US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
Negotiations in Saudi Arabia
Today, March 11, a meeting between the Ukrainian and US delegations will take place in Saudi Arabia, where discussions are expected to cover the resumption of US military aid and the sharing of intelligence data.
According to White House Head Donald Trump, he expects positive results from the negotiations in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Rubio stated that he has no scheduled conversation with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is also visiting Jeddah.
