Ukraine and US army chiefs discuss implementation of Ukraine's victory plan
Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, held a phone conversation with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, Charles Brown, to discuss key issues regarding support for Ukraine, citing Syrskyi's post.
Syrskyi expressed gratitude to the United States for its robust military and political assistance, as well as for joint efforts aimed at developing the capabilities of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
During the conversation, they analyzed the current security situation in Ukraine and discussed critical needs for the Armed Forces concerning weapons, equipment, and ammunition.
Particular attention was given to implementing the military component of the Ukrainian president's victory plan, as well as preparations for the 25th meeting in the Ramstein format. General Charles Brown confirmed the full support of the United States and the readiness to continue practical assistance in the fight against the Russian aggressor.
Victory plan
About a month ago, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented a victory plan for the war, which had already been shared with US President Joe Biden and presidential candidates, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, during his visit to the United States.
Recently, Zelenskyy reaffirmed that Ukraine's victory plan does not cancel the intention to hold a peace summit.
However, due to the secrecy of the document, misinformation has emerged. In particular, Bild reported on Ukraine's alleged readiness to freeze the war, which is not true.
Additionally, Zelenskyy announced plans to disclose the victory plan to all Ukrainians.
