Ukraine accelerates destruction of Russian ships in Black Sea - UK Intelligence
Two-thirds of Ukraine's successful attacks on Russian naval vessels in the Black and Azov Seas occurred over the past year, the UK Ministry of Defense reports.
Open-source reports say that between February 2022 and June 2024, Ukrainian forces damaged or destroyed 26 Russian Navy ships operating in the Black Sea region.
According to UK intelligence, the strikes took place in the northern region of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

"There has been an increase in the frequency and level of damage caused by attacks around the Crimean Peninsula over the last year, with nearly two thirds of strikes occurring within this period," the UK Ministry of Defense says.
Earlier, the Commander of the Ukrainian Navy, Vice Admiral Oleksii Neizhpapa, said that the Russian Black Sea Fleet was forced to relocate almost all of its combat-ready ships from the occupied Crimea to other locations.
Neizhpapa said that Ukraine had destroyed or damaged 27 warships, including five that were destroyed by sea mines.
In addition, according to him, F-16s with appropriate weapons will be able to push back Russian warplanes. As a result, the northwestern part of the Black Sea, especially the corridor for civilian ships, will be almost 100% protected.
