U.S Intelligence claims that according to preliminary data, the head of the Wagner Private Military Company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, died in an airplane crash, according to the Wall Street Journal.

According to the article, the plane carrying the head of the Wagner Private Military Company was not shot down by a surface-to-air missile. Preliminary and incomplete assessments suggest that a bomb exploded on board the aircraft.

According to Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military-political analyst from the "Information Resistance" group, the plane of Prigozhin could have been shot down by Russian air defense systems.
