U.S. considering evacuation of its citizens from Israel
The United States is currently developing plans for the potential evacuation of American citizens from Israel, according to NBC News.
It is noted that the United States has not yet made a decision regarding the evacuation of Americans from Israel. However, Washington is exploring various options.
One of the evacuation options being considered involves placing some Americans on U.S. Navy ships for transportation to a safe location.
In addition, according to two U.S. officials, the military plans to redeploy U.S. Navy ships and military aircraft closer to Israel as a sign of support.
HAMAS attack on Israel
Yesterday, HAMAS terrorists infiltrated Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip and engaged in combat with the Israeli military. HAMAS managed to seize control of several populated areas.
By evening, the Israeli military had regained control of a significant portion of the territory and conducted strikes in response against military targets and HAMAS headquarters.
Israel declared a "state of war" and initiated the counterterrorism operation "Operation Iron Swords." The HAMAS attack on Israel has resulted in the deaths of at least 700 people.
Furthermore, Bulgaria and Romania have already begun evacuating their citizens from Israel. Meanwhile, Poland and Hungary have also announced plans for evacuation flights.
