Trump wants 'phenomenal' offer from other countries in exchange for tariff concessions

US President Donald Trump stated that he is ready to consider the possibility of reducing import tariffs. However, other countries must offer something "phenomenal" in return.
During the conversation, Trump defended the increase in import tariffs despite the financial market collapse, stating that such a reaction was expected.
The US President also noted that the White House is open to negotiations on tariff reductions for other countries, despite the insistence of some high-ranking officials.
"If somebody said that we’re going to give you something that’s so phenomenal, as long as they’re giving us something that’s good. The tariffs give us great power to negotiate," Trump said.
Trump's trade war
US President Donald Trump has imposed large-scale tariffs on imported goods. This historic move has shaken the world. Media outlets have suggested that Trump's actions could become the "third economic earthquake" in the past 17 years. According to Bloomberg, the world's wealthiest individuals have already lost $208 billion due to the new US tariffs.
Trump's tariff program has also affected Ukraine, with a base duty of 10% being introduced. The Ukrainian government emphasized that this step is difficult but not critical.
Other countries, including the EU and China, are threatening the US with countermeasures to protect their own interests.
