US President Donald Trump says a deal with Iran may be reached before King Charles visits the United States in late April, according to Sky News.
"It's possible. Very possible. They're beaten up pretty bad. It's very possible," the US President emphasizes.
In addition, Trump comments on relations with British leaders, praises his relationship with the King, and adds that he likes Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Journalists also asked the US President about the state of the special relationship with the United Kingdom, which, according to Trump himself, used to be better.
"How is the relationship? It's the relationship where: when we asked them for help, they were not there. When we needed them, they were not there. When we didn't need them, they were not there. And they still aren't there," he notes.

Negotiations between the US and Iran in Pakistan aimed at a permanent end to the war collapsed due to Tehran’s refusal to meet key demands, to abandon its nuclear program, and cease support for proxy forces.
Following this, Trump announced a naval blockade of Iranian ports. At the same time, the United Kingdom stated that it would not participate in the blockade, citing its own objectives.
The US and Iran are actively consulting on a new round of negotiations to end the war, which could take place as early as April 16. Islamabad and Geneva are being considered as possible venues, but a final decision on the meeting location has not yet been made.
Iran has demanded compensation from five Arab countries, suspecting them of involvement in the US-Israeli military operation, and accused them of aiding aggression and violating international law.
