Trump says Iran could see sanctions lifted if it stops hostile acts

US President Donald Trump suggested he might support eventual sanctions relief for Iran, Bloomberg informs.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump said the United States is still maintaining sanctions against Iran.
"And if they do a job, and if they can be peaceful, and if they can show us they’re not going to do any more harm, I would take the sanctions off," he said.
Earlier on Friday, Trump had already said he is considering easing sanctions on Iran after a ceasefire. However, he said he would keep the sanctions in place while criticizing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei for his statements about victory in the war with Israel.
It should be noted that Trump's statement is part of his recent pressure campaign to bring Iran back to negotiations on its nuclear program.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that the Trump administration is working on a number of initiatives aimed at restarting the negotiation process with Iran.
