Trump's Special Envoy Kellogg: Russia not to win war and its losses are pointless

Russia will not win the war against Ukraine. Its "achievements" are measured in meters, not miles, Keith Kellogg, US Presidential Special Envoy for Ukraine, says on Fox News.
"Russia's not winning this war. Russia has not made any major advances in the last year and a half. They haven't taken the city of Kyiv, the capital. They haven't pushed to the west of the Dnipro River which is a major obstacle. They've lost hundreds of thousands of soldiers. They never really moved anything. It moves by meters, not by miles," Kellogg said.
The US Special Envoy also added that today Ukrainians are fiercely fighting against the enemy on their own territory, and if Russia were really winning, the war would have already ended.
Russian 'ceasefires'
Recently, Russia has increasingly been talking about its supposed readiness for direct negotiations with Ukraine. What's more, they even claimed that they were ready for dialogue "without preconditions."
In particular, Russia initiates so-called "ceasefires" on the front but has never adhered to them. On April 28, Russian leader Vladimir Putin announced a temporary truce in the Ukraine war on the 80th anniversary of Victory Day "for humanitarian reasons".
As Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, noted, the terrorist state Russia must back peace talk claims with real action.
