US President Donald Trump has not yet expressed full support for the new bill on sanctions against Russia, according to Axios.

Trump is not yet ready to publicly and fully endorse the bill on new US sanctions against Russia.

Despite this, Trump has made it clear that he plans to sign the bill in memory of Lindsey Graham.

The late Republican senator, together with his colleague, Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal, worked for many months to increase sanctions pressure on the Kremlin.

Donald Trump himself recently stated that he considered the passage of the bill on new sanctions to be quite likely.

At the same time, one of the main problems is that he does not view advancing this initiative as one of his priorities.

On July 17, it became known that Graham’s bone-crushing sanctions against Russia are already supported by more than 60 senators. In effect, this means the bill has enough votes to pass in the Senate.

Despite this, one obstacle remains—the timeline for its consideration has not yet been determined.

RBC-Ukraine recently reported on the specifics of Graham’s bill on bone-crushing sanctions against Russia.

The White House has stated its readiness to support such a sanctions initiative.

Earlier, the Office of the President of Ukraine also explained how the mechanism of the US bone-crushing sanctions against Russia would work.
