Trump's candidate officially accepts nomination for position of Vice President of US
Republican Senator J. D. Vance from Ohio officially accepted the nomination for Vice President of the US during his speech at the National Convention of the Republican Party, reports Voice of America.
J. D. Vance dedicated much of his speech to his grandmother and the necessity of defending the interests of the working class.
He promised to stop communist China from building its middle class on the backs of our middle class.
The candidate criticized President Joe Biden, accusing him of not wanting to help our own citizens, but traveling who knows where in the world to help others.
Vance said that together they would ensure that their allies contributed their fair share to national security and security around the world. He added that together they would only send their children to war when absolutely necessary, emphasizing that President Trump would ensure it was not necessary. However, he noted that if they were to strike, they would strike very hard.
Vance and Ukraine
J. D. Vance opposed US military aid to Ukraine, opposed the confiscation of frozen Russian assets, and suggested that Ukraine might have to concede territory to end the war.
Following Trump's announcement of Vance as his candidate, a senior EU official remarked that this is a disaster for Ukraine.
