The approval rating of US President Donald Trump has dropped to a new low in the United States, according to Sky News.

A poll conducted from March 30 to April 13 showed that only 37% of adults approve of Trump’s performance as president.

At the same time, half of the respondents now strongly disapprove of the American leader, while 63% overall express dissatisfaction with his actions.

According to analysts, the US president’s approval rating is falling amid growing public concern over a potential war with Iran and rising costs of living.

Trump losing popularity

In a March poll in the United States, about 44% of respondents said they fully or somewhat approved of how President Trump was performing his duties, while 54% said they fully or somewhat disapproved.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll in November last year also showed that Trump’s rating was at its lowest since returning to power, as Americans were dissatisfied with his handling of the cost-of-living crisis.

In addition, earlier reports indicated that nearly half of Europeans (48% of respondents) consider the US president an “enemy of Europe.” The highest figures were recorded in Belgium (62%) and France (57%), while the lowest were in Croatia (37%) and Poland (19%).
