Trump's alleged 100-day plan for Ukraine published online - Presidential Administration reacted
An alleged "100-day plan by Donald Trump" for Ukraine has been published online. The Office of the President called it disinformation, according to the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak.
On Sunday, January 26, an alleged peace plan by Trump to end the war in Ukraine within 100 days, by May 9, 2025, was published online. This plan reportedly includes phone negotiations between Trump, Ukrainian authorities, and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, as well as an Easter truce.
The media also claimed that under this plan, a peace agreement would supposedly be brokered with the involvement of the United States, China, European countries, and the Global South.
Yermak stated that no "100-day peace plans," as circulated by the media, exist in reality.
"These are just disinformation attempts often legitimized by Russians," he said.
In addition, the British newspaper The Sunday Times published four scenarios for ending the war in Ukraine. The authors outlined scenarios of Ukraine’s defeat, a "bad peace," a ceasefire, and a peaceful resolution of the war.
The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko, said the publication should not be taken seriously.
"There is no access to real information or understanding of the actual state of affairs —it's superficial analysis," he commented on The Sunday Times material.
Trump’s plan for Ukraine
Even before winning the elections, Donald Trump stated that his team would develop a plan for Ukraine. However, such a plan has not yet been officially published.
Nonetheless, several media outlets have circulated probable versions of Trump’s plan. These included delaying Ukraine’s NATO membership, deploying peacekeepers in a so-called "buffer zone," and territorial concessions.
Western media recently reported that Trump allegedly instructed special representative Keith Kellogg to end the war in Ukraine within 100 days.
Following his inauguration on January 22, Trump published a statement on his social network, Truth Social, addressing Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. He called for an "agreement" to end the war as soon as possible and threatened Russia with tariffs and sanctions.
At the World Economic Forum in Davos, the US president stated that he wants to meet with Putin to put an end to the war in Ukraine.
