The trilateral summit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, US President Donald Trump, and Russian President Vladimir Putin could take place in Europe or the Middle East, The Guardian reports.

According to unofficial sources, the potential location for a meeting between Zelenskyy, Trump, and Putin was discussed during today’s video conference, which was attended by the presidents of the US, Ukraine, and European leaders.

They likely considered cities in Europe and the Middle East.

Trilateral summit

On Friday, August 15, US President Donald Trump will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

According to Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will not participate in the talks.

At the same time, the US leader stated that if his meeting with Putin is successful, he will immediately organize a trilateral meeting with Zelenskyy.

The Ukrainian president himself has repeatedly emphasized that in Russia, only Putin can make decisions, so a meeting with him is a necessary condition for ending the war.
