Trump promises to reveal peace deal for Ukraine and Russia within three days

US President Donald Trump has stated that he will reveal the details of US proposals for a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia in the coming days, Trump’s statement was cited by correspondent Alex Raufoglu on Twitter (X).
Journalists asked Trump about the US proposals for a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia — specifically, whether it involves Washington potentially recognizing the temporarily occupied Crimea as part of Russia.
"So I will be giving you a full detail over the next three days. But we had very good meetings on Ukraine, Russia," Trump responded.
He also mentioned having "very good meetings" concerning Iran.
"We'll see how that works," he added.
Trump further noted that he sees a very good chance for reaching a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia.
US proposal
Last week, US officials traveled to Paris to discuss ending Russia’s war against Ukraine.
According to Bloomberg, the US has developed and presented its own peace proposal to European allies. It reportedly envisions freezing the war, with the occupied Ukrainian territories remaining under Russian control.
Washington is also said to propose abandoning discussions about Ukraine’s NATO membership and even suggests that the US could recognize the annexation of Crimea.
