Trump opposes temporary administration in Ukraine - Department of State

US President Donald Trump opposes the establishment of a temporary administration in Ukraine and has not approved Putin's proposal, as US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce stated, according to Suspilne News.
She emphasized that the government in Ukraine is elected by the people following the country's Constitution.
The spokesperson noted that while Russia proposed a temporary administration in Ukraine, Trump did not approve it. Ukraine is a constitutional democracy, and its governance is determined by its Constitution and the Ukrainian people.
She also added that the US administration is working toward a complete ceasefire in Ukraine and advocating negotiations between the parties for a final and lasting resolution.
The State Department spokesperson stated that the US is engaging with both Russia and Ukraine and remains committed to efforts to bring them to the negotiating table.
