Trump is very unhappy that Hungary and Slovakia are buying Russian oil - Zelenskyy

US President Donald Trump is very dissatisfied that Hungary and Slovakia continue to purchase Russian oil, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron following the Coalition of the Willing meeting in Paris.
"Trump is very unhappy that Russian oil is being purchased by Europe. Among others, there are two countries — we know they are Hungary and Slovakia," Zelenskyy said.
At the same time, the president recalled that when Russia attacked Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and Ukraine responded, it was these two countries that complained to Trump.
"That is why Ukraine found this type of sanctions," the head of state emphasized.
Macron, in turn, confirmed that the Trump administration is concerned about the choice of Hungary and Slovakia, which continue to buy Russian oil.
"And I think this is very good, because sometimes they provide an argument that is very close to the US administration. It is very good that the US administration says this practice must be stopped," the French president noted.
Ukraine's strikes on the Druzhba oil pipeline
Ukrainian drones have already attacked the Druzhba oil pipeline infrastructure on Russian territory several times. As a result of these strikes, the supply of Russian oil to Hungary and Slovakia was temporarily halted.
In this context, Hungary’s Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó began threatening that if the strikes continue, Hungary would stop exporting electricity to Ukraine.
Recently, Hungarian authorities also announced that Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, commander of the Drone Forces, has been banned from entering Hungary and other Schengen countries.
In response, the Ukrainian serviceman stated that the Hungarian money paid for Russian oil then goes toward the production of drones and missiles, which, under Putin’s orders, destroy peaceful Ukrainian cities.
