US President Donald Trump stated that after a peace agreement on Gaza, he intends to end the war in Ukraine.

Trump said that it would be great to conclude a peace treaty with Iran, but noted that before that, it is necessary to “get Russia done.”

“That would be great if we could make a peace deal with them (Iran - ed.), would it be nice?.. But first, we have to get Russia done. If you don't mind, Steve (referring to special envoy Steve Witkoff - ed.), let's focus on Russia,” the American leader emphasized.

Today, October 13, Donald Trump delivered a speech in the Knesset, telling how he sent his special envoy Steve Witkoff to Moscow for talks with Russian president Vladimir Putin.

According to the American leader, he thought that the war in Ukraine would be easy to settle - “much easier” than he did with Israel.

The Kremlin says that there are currently all opportunities to organize talks between US President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, a phone call between the leaders will take place as soon as agreements on this are reached. So far, according to him, there are no clear agreements..

In August, Steve Witkoff met with Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin. It was his fifth visit to Moscow since Donald Trump's return to the White House.
