US President Donald Trump allegedly approved Israel's strike on Doha, the capital of Qatar. Washington knew about such plans in advance, reports The Times of Israel.

Israeli strike on Doha

Today, September 9, Israeli forces attacked Doha. As noted by the Israel Defense Forces, in this way they attempted to eliminate members of the Hamas senior leadership.

So far, there is no official information about the results of the strike. At the same time, Al Arabiya, citing sources, writes that Israel may have eliminated Hamas chief negotiator Khalil al-Hayya.

According to unconfirmed information, Israel's targets were three members of the Hamas senior leadership.

Official representative of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs Majed Al-Ansari has already stated that the strike was aimed at residential buildings in which several members of the Hamas political bureau lived.

He called the attack "a blatant violation of all international laws and norms." The official added that the strike creates a serious threat to the security and inviolability of Qatari citizens and residents of Qatar.
