Trump calls Ceuta migration crisis an 'invasion'

Trump reacted to the migrant wave in Ceuta
The US president said he "watched the catastrophe" unfolding in Spain.
"It looks like an invasion of a country by hundreds of thousands of people," Trump said.
He also compared the events in Spain to what he believes could happen in the United States if his party loses the upcoming midterm elections.
"The same thing's going to happen to us if the Republicans don't get elected, except worse, much bigger," he said.
Trump added that, in his view, Spain does not know how to handle the situation.
"And it's happening again today. It’s just invading the country," he said.
According to Trump, the migration crisis in Spain is the result of:
- weak laws;
- poor governance;
- overly liberal legislation.
Migration crisis in Ceuta
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that about 60,000 migrants entered the city of Ceuta within 24 hours.
Acting Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha also said that a pro-Russian media network is using photos from the Spanish enclave of Ceuta to destabilize EU countries.
In addition, European Commissioner for Migration Magnus Brunner said the situation in Ceuta is "unacceptable," but stressed that there would be no further movement of migrants into other European Union countries.
