Newly elected President Donald Trump has arrived at the White House, where he was welcomed by President Joe Biden, CNN reports.
President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden greeted President-elect Trump and Melania Trump as they arrived at the White House following a service at St. John’s Episcopal Church.

According to the agency, it is customary for the president-elect, the vice president-elect, and their spouses to visit the White House after the morning service, where the incoming president and the outgoing president hold a brief private meeting.
This year, it is expected that Biden and Trump, along with their spouses, will share tea at the White House.
Traditionally, the outgoing President accompanies the incoming President to the US Capitol for the inauguration ceremony.
However, as CNN notes, in 2021, Trump broke with tradition by declining to invite Biden to the White House and showed him open disregard.
