Trump announces 'self-deportation' program: Immigrants will receive ticket and money

US President Donald Trump stated that his administration is creating a self-deportation program, according to NBC News.
In an interview with Fox Noticias, the White House leader explained that as part of the program, the US will offer a scholarship and a plane ticket for immigrants to leave the country.
At the same time, Trump added that the government will work with immigrants to ensure they can return to the US if they behave well.
NBC reports that officials from the Trump administration are urging immigrants to voluntarily deport themselves. In addition, the Department of Homeland Security has launched a multi-million dollar advertising campaign featuring the department's secretary, Kristi Noem.
Deportation of migrants from the US
Recently, The Washington Post reported that the Trump administration is developing a plan for the largest deportation in US history. Specifically, the plan aims to deport 1 million migrants per year (there are approximately 11 million in the country). However, legal and financial barriers may hinder such plans.
