Trump announces important statement ahead of Saudi Arabia visit

US President Donald Trump announced that he will make an important statement ahead of his trip to Saudi Arabia during a conversation with journalists at the White House.
During his conversation with journalists, he reminded them about his upcoming trip to the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE in Qatar. He then announced a very important statement that he would make before his trip.
"We're going to have a very, very big announcement to make, like as big as it gets. And I won't tell you on what … and it's very positive. And that announcement will be made either Thursday or Friday or Monday before we leave," Trump said.
According to him, it will be one of the most important announcements made in many years regarding "a certain subject, a very important subject." Trump did not reveal further details about his statement or what it would be related to.
Trump's visit to Riyadh
Donald Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE has been officially confirmed by the White House.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that she could confirm the dates of Trump's trip to the Middle East. She added that he would visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE from May 13 to May 16.
