Trump announces 90-day pause in trade war with introduction of 10% tariff

The US has put additional tariffs for a number of countries on pause. A 10% tariff will apply to almost all of them, according to the US President Donald Trump on Truth Social.
He said that more than 75 countries had reached out to US representatives to address issues related to trade, trade barriers, tariffs, currency manipulation, and non-tariff barriers. At the same time, they did not take any retaliatory measures following Washington’s decision on tariffs.
"I have authorized a 90 day pause, and a substantially lowered Reciprocal Tariff during this period, of 10%, also effective immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter!" Trump stated.
Trump’s tariffs
Last week US President Donald Trump imposed additional tariffs on imports from over 180 countries.
This decision also affected Ukraine. The US introduced a 10% tariff on Ukrainian goods. However, according to First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko, this is “not critical” for Ukraine.
So far, only China has decided to respond symmetrically to the US tariffs. In response, President Donald Trump raised tariffs on Chinese goods to 125%.
