Trump and Zelenskyy may meet in New York next week, says US Secretary of State

US President Donald Trump is likely to meet with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy next week on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio reports.
In particular, Rubio told reporters that Trump still hopes to broker a peace deal involving Russian President Vladimir Putin.
As the US Secretary of State clarified, next week in New York, leaders will gather for the UN General Assembly.
“Trump has had multiple calls with Putin, multiple meetings with Zelenskyy, including probably next week again in New York,” Rubio told reporters during his visit to Israel.
As previously reported, the US President Donald Trump plans to speak with Chinese leader Xi Jinping at the end of this week.
Trump noted that trade talks between US and Chinese representatives in Europe went “very well.”
