Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, a prominent figure in the MAGA movement, has accused US President Donald Trump of concealing the Epstein case, according to Greene’s post on X.
"This and the Epstein files is why I’m being attacked by President Trump. It really makes you wonder what is in those files and who and what country is putting so much pressure on him?" she stated.
Greene added that she "forgives" him and will pray "for him to return to his original MAGA promises."
Shortly before that, Trump announced he would no longer support Greene.
"I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia. Over the past few weeks, all I've gotten are complaints, complaints, complaints!" Trump wrote.
In a post on Truth Social on Saturday, November 15, he called her a traitor and again accused her of drifting to the political left, mocking her last name.
"The lightweight congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Brown (green grass turns brown when it starts to rot!) betrayed the entire Republican party when she moved to the left, embarrassed herself on the pathetic show The View, and became the fake republican she always was, as we all know," Trump wrote.
Epstein case
On November 13, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released new Jeffrey Epstein emails that mention Trump.
Trump responded on Truth Social, claiming Democrats are trying to distract from their political failures.
Financier Jeffrey Epstein was known for running a sex-trafficking network for powerful figures around the world.
A central unresolved question remains the existence of Epstein’s "contact list" - individuals who may have been among his clients. Public sources confirm that he had contact with Donald Trump.
For years, radical Trump supporters demanded that authorities publish the list - arguing it would prove the involvement of the American cultural and political elite in Epstein’s crimes.
