Trump acknowledges Russia's 5-year-long attacks on Europe

US President Donald Trump said that Russia has been carrying out attacks on European countries, noting this has been happening for about five years, according to White House broadcast.
The American leader spoke to reporters. During the exchange, one journalist noted that Polish officials are concerned that Russia could attack Ukraine's allies.
Asked whether he agreed with that assessment, Trump said the attacks began long ago.
"I think they already have attacked Ukrainian allies. They have been attacking Ukrainian allies for practically five years," the US president noted.

As previously reported, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said today that Russia's war aimed at exhausting Ukraine's economy is entering a decisive phase. According to him, Ukraine and its allies face difficult and challenging weeks and months, and Poland is preparing for various scenarios.
Also notable is that Tusk had previously convened ministers along with government, military, and intelligence officials after Russian forces struck the Yahodyn railway station near the Polish border.
Amid this, he warned that the coming months would see intense Russian activity and did not rule out the possibility that the escalation could affect Polish territory.
