Trump accuses UN of triple sabotage against him

US President Donald Trump complained of a triple sabotage during his participation in the UN General Assembly, the White House reports.
According to Trump, first, the escalator he was using suddenly stopped. Later, during his speech in the hall, the teleprompter stopped working, and the sound was also cut off.
“This wasn’t a coincidence, this was triple sabotage at the UN. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I am sending a copy of this letter to the Secretary-General, and I demand an immediate investigation,” the US President wrote.
Trump also emphasized that there was nothing surprising about the UN “hasn’t been able to do the job they were put in existence to do.” The US President also demanded that all camera recordings near the escalator be preserved, especially the moment when the emergency button was pressed.
Trump added that the Secret Service had already been involved in the matter.
Trump at UN
Trump recently addressed the UN General Assembly. However, during his arrival and speech, a series of mishaps occurred.
First, the escalator he was riding on stopped midway. Then, just as he was about to speak, the teleprompter broke down. Trump mocked the UN at that point, claiming that during his second presidential term, he had ended seven wars, yet had received no help from the Organization.
"(I) never even received a phone call from the United Nations offering to help in finalizing the deal. All I got from the United Nations was an escalator, that on the way up, stopped right in the middle. And then a teleprompter that didn’t work," Trump joked.
