Trend alert! Jamala's summer look in viral colors - Watch video and cost list

Ukrainian singer Jamala appeared in a stylish summer outfit that combines this season's trends: a butter-yellow kimono cardigan, wide-leg trousers, and heeled flip-flops. The artist not only showcased her sense of style but also revealed how much her look costs, writes popular blogger Nikolas Karma on Instagram.
What look Jamala chose
Kimono cardigan: the main highlight of the outfit is a long, loose butter-yellow cardigan with wide sleeves.
Wide trousers: loose-fitting trousers made of lightweight fabric in a dark brown shade.
Heeled flip-flops: the outfit is completed with black flip-flops featuring a square toe, without heels. This style has been very relevant and trendy over the past few seasons.
Accessories: a delicate gold chain with a minimalist pendant, combined with chunky earrings and rings. She also complemented the look with a spacious brown handbag.
Overall style: a modern urban casual look focusing on comfort, natural fabrics, and layering. The outfit has a relaxed yet thoughtful vibe and is perfect for the warm season.

Then she revealed how much she paid for the kimono-cardigan in the trendy butter-yellow shade.
"You know, I might call it a robe. It was over $240," Jamala shared.
Her shoes also cost around $36.
"The bag, well, it's kind of a 'ragged' one already, I think around $120-170," the singer added.
Why butter yellow is a trend for summer 2025
A soft alternative to bright shades
This tone—warm, muted, slightly creamy—is less aggressive than neon yellow, but still "sunny." It looks good on various skin tones and pairs easily with other colors.
Inspired by nature and retro aesthetics
Brands are leaning into "retro comfort": the '70s and '80s colors that evoke a sense of coziness and nostalgia. Butter yellow often appears in boho-style outfits.
Trend toward soft, "edible" colors
In 2025, popular shades resemble food: butter, honey, caramel, and almond. Butter yellow is part of this palette.
Why brown is a trend for summer 2025
New neutral base
Instead of the usual black or gray colors, stylists often recommend brown—a deep, warm, and versatile color. In summer, it has a softer and more organic look than black and pairs better with natural fabrics.
Trend toward natural tones
The fashion of 2025 actively draws on nature-inspired hues—khaki, terracotta, sand, olive, and cocoa. They are associated with stability and calm.
Luxury appeal
Brown is frequently used in collections by luxury brands like The Row, Bottega Veneta, and Loewe, which shape the visual language of "quiet luxury."
