Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed due to the detonation of an explosive device in Rivne region. There are also reports about injured people, as Spokesperson for the territorial office of the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) in Khmelnytsky Kateryna Herasimuk said to RBC-Ukraine.
"SBI initiated a pre-trial investigation into the detonation of an explosive device in Rivne region, which resulted in the death of two soldiers. Four others were injured and have been hospitalized," she said.
Herasimuk added that SBI investigators are already examining all the circumstances of the incident.
She noted that the preliminary qualification of the offense is a violation of gun safety rules, which led to the death of several individuals.
Earlier, a group of young people beat a soldier in the village of Zhytni Hory in Kyiv region. The police have initiated an investigation.
An explosion occurred in a training unit of the State Emergency Service in Kharkiv region, resulting in the death of two cadets.
