In a world where safety is becoming an increasingly major challenge, finding a peaceful place to live is a true luxury.

RBC-Ukraine, citing the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), presents the 2026 Global Peace Index, naming the countries that have managed to create the most stable environments for their citizens.

The Global Peace Index ranks 163 countries based on 23 indicators, including levels of internal and international conflict, societal safety, militarization, and the impact of terrorism.

According to researchers, the global level of peace continues to decline, but some states remain unwavering oases of stability and prosperity.
