Millions of people worldwide suffer from chronic kidney disease. Scientific research shows that it affects almost one in ten people on the planet. Although there is no magic pill for kidney health, including certain foods in your diet can support this organ's proper function.

RBC-Ukraine reports on the most beneficial foods for kidney health, based on The Indian Express.

Salmon

Salmon is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, which have anti-inflammatory properties that promote cardiovascular health. Consuming fatty fish, such as salmon, can lower cholesterol levels, thereby reducing the risk of kidney disease.

Additionally, salmon is an excellent source of protein, containing essential amino acids vital for overall health and muscle function.

Kale

Kale is packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, including vitamin K, which is crucial for blood clotting and bone strength.

Due to its low potassium content, kale is suitable for people with kidney conditions who need to limit potassium intake. Incorporating leafy greens like kale into your daily diet can help regulate kidney function and improve overall well-being.

Garlic

Garlic has been known for its healing properties for centuries. It contains allicin, which has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
