Tied to motorcycle and dragged: Russian soldiers execute Ukrainian defender

Russian soldiers have likely executed a Ukrainian prisoner of war. The video is circulating on social media, said Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.
"The Russians have probably executed a Ukrainian prisoner. A video is circulating on social media showing a man tied to a motorcycle and dragged along the road," the Ombudsman stated.
He emphasized that this is an act of deliberate brutality and another war crime committed by Russia. Lubinets has already sent official letters to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
According to the Ombudsman, Russia continues to act as a terrorist state and must be held accountable for every such crime.
Executions of Ukrainian prisoners of war
On May 6, it was reported that Russian forces executed three Ukrainian prisoners of war.
The atrocity took place near the village of Novopil in the Volnovakha district. Russian troops surrounded the Ukrainian soldiers, forced them to surrender their weapons, and then shot them.
Ukrainian law enforcement has launched a pre-trial investigation.
